The story of the Lalit Group begins with Shri Mahaveer Prasad Jain, a self-made young entrepreneur
from the town of Silchar in undivided India. He started his entrepreneurial journey with the flour mill
business in 1975. Over the years, the Lalit Group has expanded its operations under the able leadership
of Chairman Shri Mahaveer Prasad Jain, supported by his son Shri Vishal Jain and Avishek Jain.
The Group has diversified its businesses into various sectors such as flour mills, packaging, logistics,
jute and cotton bags spanning across continents. The Lalit Group employs around 2500 people and has offices
in several key cities worldwide, including India. The Group believes in traditional family values and has
always striven to inculcate these values in its business enterprises. The Lalit Group has a proven track
